Once your vehicle passes the inspection at Mika Motors, our licensed vehicle testers will issue a roadworthy certificate. This certificate is considered 'current' and valid for 30 days from the date of issue. It can be used multiple times for registration or transfer purposes within this period. If your vehicle does not pass the inspection initially, you will receive a test report detailing the required repairs. You then have 14 days to address these issues and have the vehicle re-inspected.

In the event you disagree with the results of your roadworthy inspection, it is important to know that we are here to support you. While we do not have the authority to resolve disputes directly, you can seek legal advice or take the matter to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) or the Magistrates Court. Additionally, Consumer Affairs may offer assistance if your vehicle was purchased from a licensed motor car trader.

The owner had brought the car in for the rego inspection as it was registered in QLD originally and now needed to be inspected for Vic registration.

There was an issue finding the engine number which was only located after removing the cowl. It was found the detail at the base of the engine at the front of the vehicle.
